The brief: after the pandemic and myriad lockdowns, independent sellers Bleur Art knew that people hadn’t been to galleries for a long time, and that the way we were consuming art had changed. So they commissioned a select few Insta-people to host home-takeovers, a hand-chosen exhibition in our own spaces.
The idea: I curated a selection of pieces to loan and worked up a pitch for the film and content. I was responsible for filming and photographing myself talking about the pieces I’d chosen as they hung in my home. I chose to talk about the feeling each piece evoked, talking up the ways that art can transport us to another emotional plane.
