I’ve always loved words. I was the kid with the dog-eared notebook, writing long stories for nobody else, and insisting on word games in every car journey. Lucky parents.

I learned the craft of communication from every angle at university, picking up a first-class BA Hons. Beyond words, my course taught me comms through visuals, campaigns, and the tiny details designed to hold attention.

That kicked off my career with roles at some of Britain’s best-known brands: Topshop in its heyday, Urban Outfitters and Ted Baker. Net-a-Porter, where I led social media, working with teams across the business, and the world.

Somewhere in the middle of all that, I realised the part I loved most wasn’t the meetings or the metrics - it was the writing. Finding exactly the right words and watching them land. So I built a business around that part, and I’ve been running it for over a decade.

Now I work with brands of all sizes, helping them communicate with honesty, intelligence, and warmth. I care deeply about language that respects its reader - inclusive, considered and free from manipulation.

Most days you’ll find me at my desk in East London, with my canine co-worker Roo snoring nearby. And every so often, when a client emails to say, “You’ve nailed it!” I remember that I get to wake up and do words for a living - and I feel so lucky to do it.
